Considering the overheated rhetoric coming from those who believe you must accept every bullet point in the Republican platform in order to demonstrate your conservative beliefs, a number of other bloggers and I have formed a community over at The Truth Laid Bear (complete with snazzy new layout), called Raging RINOs.

This idea comes courtesy of the one-and-only Commissar, who recently took quite a lot of guff for his position, similar to mine, that the recent filibuster deal brokered by a group of Senators known as the “Gang of Fourteen” is not, in fact, the “end of the Republic,” as some have suggested. Others were raked over the coals for their positions on the Terri Schiavo matter. (One blogger, who shall remain nameless, referred to Glenn Reynolds as “InstaPilate” for his position.) Others are drawn here because of their views on religion, abortion, or their approach to social problems.

Anyway, we’ve just gotten this thing started, so you’ll be seeing more about it in the weeks and months to come, both here and (I’m sure) elsewhere.

   Awesome graphic! Thanks so much. I submitted it to NZBear, for ‘official’ use on his Communities page.

   I am now using on my site, and will try to pass it around as a sidebar logo.

   If you have a larger .bmp or .tiff format, send it to me, for better editing. I guess even a larger .jpg would be useful.
